Joe Walter has been teaching yoga for 2 years. His teaching style has been influenced by Iyengar, Vini and Kripalu yoga.

The blend of these schools creates a style that is a gentle flow with emphasis on breath, present moment awareness and cultivating an abiding sense of calm. Joe believes yoga can be beneficial for anyone and everyone on every level, body, mind and spirit.

If you can breath, you can do yoga. Joe has been a psychotherapist for 30 years and has a special interest in yoga as a therapeutic intervention. He has trained extensively with Amy Weintraub, RYT 500 specializing in yoga for the treatment of depression and anxiety. Joe and his wife Kathy have been married for 29 years and have 2 adult children, Tim and Katia.  He looks forward to seeing you on your yoga mat.
